Hero Martial Arts is celebrating 15 years of teaching martial arts in Palmetto Bay, Fl. Master Luis Cocco has been teaching Traditional Taekwondo & Olympic Taekwondo in Miami for over 25 years. Hero Martial Arts is a member of the Zen Mu Kwan Association. Prior to opening Hero Martial Arts in Palmetto Bay; Master Cocco was a Head Instructor at Lee's Taekwondo school in Miami for over a decade. Lee's Taekwondo school is owned by Master Cocco's parents. Martial Arts has always been a family affair for Master Cocco. Master Cocco grew up practicing & teaching Traditional & Olympic Taekwondo. In 2008, Master Cocco and his wife also a Taekwondo Black Belt, opened Hero Martial Arts as part of their lifelong dream to share the martial art of Taekwondo with their community.
All of our classes are taught by a highly qualified and professional instructor. Master Luis Cocco is an 8th degree Black Belt in Taekwondo and teaches most classes at the academy. Master Cocco is also the Head Coach of Team Hero and coaches athletes at Taekwondo competitions at the local, state, national, and international level. Master Cocco has led and coached many students to National Championships, World Championships, and the USA National Taekwondo Team in both Sparring & Poomsae. Master Cocco is also a USA Taekwondo Level 2 coach.
